Danbury Scroggins has upset the rest of the GVF competitors in a triple threat final to become the 3rd winner of the new prestigious event!
The numbers were such that the Kroger Youth were able to compete in both the GVFT and Kroger Classics tournament simultaneously! Danbury gave Ern a run for his money, but Ern ultimately showed his veteran poise and took out the cocky youth competitor!
For the first time in recorded Kroger History, we had ourselves a tie! The options were to have a roll off, or all 3 would bowl the next game for a winner and the choice was the latter. Geoffrey ended up taking down Big Ern and TWS to move on to the Finals against the Captain!
It came down to a rematch we've seen a few times as of late... "Captain" Mick Chicken and Geoffrey Scroggins! A close match, Geoffrey was able to smell the blood in the water and get the win against the Captain, 161-121!

In true Kroger form, all of the matches were just too close to call! From Seymour v Ern to Mick v Geoffrey! Even the triple threat youth finals were very competitive! Hats off to all the competitors for improving their games and bringing the Heat!
It came down to a rematch we saw many times in the old days of Kroger- Big Ern and Geoffrey Scroggins! A close match, Geoffrey was able to eke out a win against the fellow co-founder 161-135!
We have the first ever winner of the Kroger Youth tournament, "Popeye" Ramstharder!
In a shocking turn of events, The Captain had to forfeit his defense of the Cup this month, and the bowler to emerge victorious was Dr. Leonard Farthammer! Being the gentleman sailor that he is, Mick still came by to hand off the trophy in a peaceful transition of power.
In true Kroger form, it's only fitting that the first event of the new season was none other than the action-packed Tri Wizard tournament! The Finals saw Geoffrey, Big Ern, and Dr. Farthammer battle it out in a down to the wire, one throw nail biter! The good Dr. sneaks out another win!
Several Bowlers put up some healthy numbers this event, including Seymour, Geoffrey and the Dr. himself! All time high games and season high games will be tracked in each bowler's profile from now on... no fibbing!
Ladies and Gentlemen...Another Kroger Cup in the books, aaaaaand a NEEEEEW Kroger Cup Champion... Captain MIIIICK CHIIIIICKENNNNN!
Darryl and Mick faced off in the Semi-Finals, where The Captain took down Darryl and opened the door for a different competitor to face him in the finals this time!... Alas, who could it be?
This past event saw the birth of the new Kroger Cup youth league, the Great Value Futures Tournament!
Get ready all of you competitors under 17, for now you have your own championship for which to strive!
The Finale saw "Big Ern" Ernie McCrackin returning to the championships rounds, to square off with Captain Mick Chicken in another quintessential Kroger finish for the ages! You couldn't pay the lanes to give you strikes this day, and both men had many throws that should have been!
In the end, The Captain stayed true to course and plundered himself another taste of glory by upsetting Kroger Legend, Ernie McCrackin by 6 pins...! This win brings the Captain one step closer to Legend status himself! Ahoy!
Darryl Weathers (Champion) defeated Captain Mick Chicken by 4 pins to retain his title! The captain had an incredible tournament, and Kroger Season high game! but in the end, Darryl slinks away with another narrow victory!
There were 3 more competitors added to the Kroger Roster this past event! The bowler known only as "Milk Dud", Latoya and Walmart Bag!
In a stunning turn of events, the commissioner of The Kroger Cup Championship tournaments was in the house! Phil Riddle hopped on his private jet and made a special trip out to certify this tournament! It was great to see the Commissioner at a Kroger Event!
"Captain" Mick Chicken had one HELL of a showing, scoring 171 in his third game and obliterating all who were placed before him... until the final match where he fell to Darryl Weathers in a hard fought back and forth brawl!
Everyone gave their all yet again and it was quintessential Kroger! Seasons Beatings should be a great event as usual... you never know what will happen! See you there!
In a nail biter action packed final, Darryl Weathers (Champion) defeated Legend Geoffrey Scroggins by 3 pins to reclaim his title! It was Geoffrey's to lose and lose it he did!

The Kroger Roster saw 4 additions to the lineup this event! Pubert Pickle, Beatrix Cheeseworth, Pillsbury Tollhouse and Sedgewick "Cartwright" Scroggins!
Two, count em, TWO competitors from before the great pause made their return! The Handicapped Prime minister, who made Darryl Weathers sweat and Mr. Wade Waldorf, who took out Danbury Scroggins! Great to see them back!
The Finals saw a Legend to the Kroger Universe, Geoffrey Scroggins and "newcomer" Darryl Weathers. It was an incredible event, filled with action, suspense and thermal paper... but in the end it was Darryl Weathers who squeaked out another win!
In a shocking turn of events, Darryl Weathers (Champion) was eliminated in the first round of tournament play! The Diaper Dandy from Morrocco rolled a Gentlemens 58 in his seating round, which paired him up against Darryl!
Having rolled a 107 in the seating round, Darryl was approaching his battle with confidence and not expecting "The Sultan" to perform! in a 124-125 down to the wire action packed battle, Darryl was eliminated from his title defense at the hands of Ligma Bowlze! What a Kroger debut for the young grifter, who immediately dropped back down into the 50s the very next game!
The entire Kroger Roster stepped up, and every match was one for the ages! From the newcomers Rusty Berger, and "Mystery T" to seasoned vets like Seymour and The Captain! It was an action-packed LIVE Kroger event!
One of the newest competitors to the roster, Mystery T, had to bowl left-handed and was able to take out Geoffrey Scroggins! Scroggins had a bye round after seating 1st, and that break, along with the mysterious RNG of Mystery T really jacked with his head! Way to go Mystery T!
The Finals saw 2 rookies to the Kroger Universe, "Mystery T" and Dr. Leonard Farthammer! It was an incredible event, filled with action, suspense and farmers... but in the end it was the Doctor of Bowling Ball-ogy ™ who overcame the onslaught and emerged victorious!
